Navigating the Learner Dashboard

After a successful login, the learner is taken to an internal "Home" dashboard that displays a series of panels with training information specific to them. For example, it shows their currently enrolled courses, recommended learning resources, and top-promoted content. The dashboard panels are designed so the learner can see important information at a glance, such as statuses, progress, and due dates, in a simple tiled view.

The list of standard configured panels includes:

  • Badge panel: Displays all badges or the latest achieved badges.

  • Bookshelf panel: Displays media objects saved by the learner in courses or the catalogue.

  • Catalogue: Displays content from a pre-defined catalog.

  • Catalogue entry panel: Displays a text search and visual topic search into catalogue.

  • Top contents:Displays items in catalogue that are promoted.

  • Certification: Displays overview of certification hour/points tracked for the current certification period.

  • Certification set panel:Displays the progress regarding the selected certification set.

  • Channel panel: Displays user-personalized channel content, including subscribed channels or the channel feed.

  • Course panel: Displays courses with which the current user is associated.

  • Current contents: Displays current courses sorted according to urgency.

  • Current courses: Displays courses where the learner is enrolled or in progress on.

  • Experience tracks panel: Displays the current level and achieved points.

  • Feedback:A simple panel to leave system feedback to be received by Admins.
