Completing a Course

In the imc Learning Suite courses can be delivered in various formats including online “duration of use", instructor led "date dependent" and a "blended" combination of both classroom attendance as well as completing online activities. Given the varying delivery formats the completion method of each type of course can also be different.

  • Online courses: typically require the learner to complete a series of content to complete the course based on progress or learning logic such as passing a test.

  • Instructor led courses: typically require the tutor to mark the learners attendance to complete the course.

  • Blended courses: typically require the tutor to mark attendance and the learner to complete the online components to have the course conclude based on progress.

When opening courses the display can also vary in terms of content and layout depending on the course room type that is used within the course. There is a "Simplified" standard layout or a "Detailed" configurable layout where displays can be quite different. The following sections will explain both:
