Licenses
Licences are purchased and serve the activation or deactivation:
For each component, interface or platform language, the time of use can be limited to a specific period.
For each client, separate licence settings can be used, if required. A selection can be made from multiple service models that can be combined, e.g. number of enrolments, days of active use, number of dashboard requests or number of logins.
Functions of the licence manager
Edit
Description
In addition to the name and description of a licence draft, this function determines whether the licence is to be applied to a specific client only or to all clients in the system.
User licences
This function determines how many user licences are to be made available and if the number is to refer to all enrolled users or active users only who logged onto the platform at least once. If a client-specific licence is selected in the description tab, these settings can be made for each client individually, and can also be transferred from one client to another.
Component activation
This function determines which components and interfaces are to be available in addition to the basic system and which platform languages are to be activated. The validity of these licence components can be limited to a specific period of time. If a client-specific licence is selected in the description tab, these settings can be made for each client individually, and can also be transferred from one client to another.
Service models
This function determines the service model according to which platform use is to be accounted. Available options: accounting period (monthly to annual), date of first invoice and invoice recipient. Depending on the service model, further information can be relevant, e.g. invoice format and campaign period.
Delete
Only drafts and confirmed licences can be deleted. Active or formerly active licences remain viewable in the system for the record.
Create draft
The purchase of a licence begins with a draft that determines which components, interfaces, platform languages, user volumes and service models are to be activated. Only one draft at a time can exist.
Order Licence
After editing the draft, it can be downloaded and sent to imc AG. The chosen licence settings receive the status "Confirmed".
Activate Licence
Next up, imc AG creates and provides a licence key which can be uploaded and activated. via "Activate licence". The new licence settings will be directly adopted. The previous licence setting will be set to "Archive" status.
