Users can be linked to resources. This means that a tutor who is a user in the system, for instance, can simultaneously be booked as a resource. If users and resources are linked in this fashion, some information is stored twice, such as name and location. To ensure a consistent database, resource meta tags and personal identifiers can be mapped. This means that a mapping is created for each resource-meta-tag/personal-identifier pair. If the name of a tutor is changed, for instance, the change will also be made to the resource.
