Configuration Manager - Reporting
The "Reporting" menu contains many settings for the export format of csv reports.
Description
Setting | What does the setting do? |
---|---|
CSV encoding | Determines the character set coding that the LMS uses when creating CSV files for the export of reports. |
Field separator | Character that the LMS uses in the CSV export of a report as column divider. Note: In order to open the created CSV file in a client such that it can be read, the character must in principle be adapted to suit this client. MS EXCEL interprets the tab character in Unicode files in all versions correctly. |
Text separator | Separator that the LMS uses for lists and itemization within a report, such as in the report header. |
Replacement for line break | Determines if and when yes, with which character line breaks will be replaced in the report fields. This functionality is especially useful when the report should be shown as a CSV file in MS Excel. Note: If this attribute is not specified, no replacement will be made. |
Leading spaces in the field | Determines whether all report fields begin with a space. |
Results size warning level | Indicates the minimum number of results rows of a report before a warning is displayed, which notifies the user of the expected report length. |
Feedback response rate | Determines the minimum number of feedback questionnaires submitted on a course before the button "Missing Feedback" is displayed in the Tutor Centre. |
Enable tracking | Activates the recording of specific transaction data in the LMS for the purpose of preparation and evaluation in reports. |
Evaluate tracking | Determines whether external links are also recorded. |
Track external links | |
RDL-Reporting active | RDL is a standard proposed by Microsoft for defining reports. This setting activates RDL. |
SSRS server URL | Connection parameter to a Microsoft SSRS Server. |
Expiry dates of exported reports | Time in days after a notification export from On-Screen Reports is deleted from the file system. |
Planned GUIDs | Specifies which reports should not be deleted by the job. |
Recommendation strategy | Defines the recommendation strategy for the Key Performance Indicators |
Maximum number of aggregated results* | Maximum number of aggregated results that can be displayed in a chart, e.g. maximum number of bars in a bar chart. |
Report subscriptions | |
Subscription Result File Handling in Mails | Definition if the report subscriptions mails include attachments or links to the result files |
Availability Period for Result files (when “Link” is selected) in days | Defines the period in days after which stored report subscription result files are deleted |
